My interest started in fifth grade, with nine inches of snow on my birthday. Tornadoes, hurricanes, and the effects of severe weather on my family made that curiosity personal.

Today, I’m building the scientific and communication skills to help people understand uncertainty, prepare for impacts, and make informed decisions.
